Entry #411.VIII.2024
I was watching Sakura from Naruto figuring out some system reminiscent of both Homestuck alchemy and Infinite Craft alchemy. For "captchaloguing", she hid stuff in her hand - doing a hand-closing movement on it - which made them into little magenta-and-white cartoonesque round blobs. These blobs could then be easily duplicated, combined, dismissed and popped, freeing the contents.
The objective was to get a chicken. Sakura started with a puff of dandelion seeds, combined two of them to make a feather - unpacked it - pondered on it - combined a puff with a feather to get the "Idea of Air", and combined that with a feather to get a bird. All of this happened in a room in my parents' house. I then started to ponder how can she easily duplicate stuff, and deduced that some grist counter should exist behind the scenes, with stuff she hides being turned into grist and stuff she unhides turned back.
