I dreamt of watching a compilation of moments with the Capitain America and the Thor from marvel movies; these were specifically selected moments looking like moments from some other movie, most probably "The Master and Margarita", but it may have been different movies.
The characters themselves were aware of being in such a compilation and were increasingly frustrated of these coincidences between them and this other movie. There was a stretch of time where the video fast-forwardes through some of the movie to get the point in a more interesting manner (with narrator commentary indicating so) and the characters were also aware of that.
Towards the end there was a scene of the Thor drowning in a lake and this somehow wah paralleled with a colored pencil drawing of Jesus swimming (sic) in water, or rather resurfacing from diving, and this was supposedly in The Master and Margarita, they supposedly "found" adult Jesus in the water like that originally instead of his usual birth story.
