Log of books read
In the interest of restoring healthy reading habits, as well as reclaiming my attention span, I find it of use to keep track herein of books I am reading, or have read. As a large portion of my literary taste resides in Internet-only publications (particularily those pertaining to the Human Domestication Guide saga), it would be unwise of me to utilize a conventional tracker for such a humble purpose.
It is my policy to never read more than one book at once, or in other words, to not begin reading another book whilst unfinished with the former. The contrary may only lead to unruly buildup of books started, but never finished, as noted in some of my comrades. I am sometimes making exceptions wherein I would read an easier or shorter book amidst tackling a longer one, more challenging to the mind, as a form of relaxation, but even in those rare scenarios I strive to keep the number of books in concurrent progress from exceeding 2 and try not to abandon either. On the other hand, I have such a buildup of literature to read that I am always reading something, starting a new book upon finishing the prior one immediately.
Of Internet publications I count only the complete ones.
