Where do i even begin on this one...

Red is oh so many things in general, but it also played a prominent role in my early life. Initially adapted from a playing card diamond, a shattered red (sometimes red and white) lozenge crystal became somewhat of a symbol of mine in late 2017 - the first symbol i ever felt attachment to. My first original character, the dreaded Asriel, used dark scarlet as his prominent color - featuring in his rhombus symbol, his clothing, his magic.

But red was also one of the colors of the Creatress. She utilized sunset colours, the full spectrum from red to yellow, and these were warm, luminous tints. Reds in particular featured most prominently: after all, she is also known as Red-Winged Falcon. One of symbols associated with her was that of three red rhombuses, initially coming from her character of Lancer - yes, i played with the whole one-rhombus-three-rhombus-thing. To the modern day Caithe is still talking in a light shade of red - and if Asriel ever gets introduced, he and his magic will keep its historic scarlet of 660-nm light.

Even more so than orange this one breathes hotness, pleasure and sexuality.

Vermilion is relatively new in my arsenal, but i love it. I was made aware of it by The Rose of Paracelsus, where one of the Six is named Vermilion - and of the Six they are the one who i find most interesting and whom I would serve with most pleasure.

It's also the colour of my favorite skirt, funnily enough. I was always labeling that as orange before.

Of the characters, Wiktori historically speaks in a kind of vermilion way, and their spiritual successor Xenvestre - if i ever get to their introduction - would use the same color; although I might change it for orange, as it more adequately approximates the color of their shared primordial canvas, information (which in the Pentatone is represented by 600-nm light, and that is definitely closer to orange than vermilion).

Oh hey, it's my favorite colour :3 well, one of!

Orange is great. It's light, it's warmth, it's kindness and rambunctiousness and sexuality and sometimes psychedelia. Orange, the person, is also great and also all those things (hi orange!).

I love dressing in orange, most of my favorite things are orange. I love orange juice, it's wondrously tingly on the tongue :3 And of the characters, i gave Lana the ability to speak in orange as she's my favorite character who i aspire to be similar to :3

I have a complicated relationship with this one. I do with all the neon greens, honestly.

Mint is "officially" named spring green... but i don't really like these composite names referencing other colours, and this was a problem ever since i started playing with tertiary colours. I originaly labeled it teal because of T3R3S1's blood but uhm actually, that teal's hue value is in cyan territory, not here!

I can see the logic of the original name though - it does give spring/refreshment vibes.

It's also kinda rare to come across in actual drawing pencils, markers etc... because these work in RYB, not RGB, and RYB knows not of neon greens, they are out of gamut. When i want to draw a 12-color piece, my green selection is always weird if i try to stick to tertiaties - though as of late i don't, opting instead to exchange what's missing in availible gamut for vermilion, amber, lavender, cerise...

I love this one!

Lavender - the more magentay, warmer kind of purple of this quaternary hue - is calm and soft and nice, especially when it's a lighter tone. This lavender is one of my favourite colours - and i gave it to Tayne, my protagonist, she has lavender hair and speaks in lavender :D

It's overall a very queer, sapphic color, it feels like a gentle kiss of a lover and brings me much comfort :D When i feel more slow, relaxed and down to earth to wear orange, i opt for lavender. Orange the person claimed me as Lavender, actually, and i can see that.

I guess overall in my life lavender is just the colour of... me :D

One of my favorite colours, it is probably the most difficult to put in words on this wheel.

Magenta is the colour of Weird. Of chaos that's larger than life, of rejecting all strict tradition, of broken textures, of that which does not belong. She is a transcendent benevolent goddess, Lovecraftian in a way except also friendly and cozy and totally here to give you a good time whether you want it or not. And she is also very, very psychedelic.

It is the colour most associated with the Metacosmos (though all colours are associated with it, it is kaleidoscopic iridescence after all). The very theme i'm using on this page, and on all pages related to dreams and the Metacosmos, is soaked with magenta and named magenta. I absolutely adore magenta. And Magenta the person. Hi Magenta!
