Entry #3603.XII.2024

I had a dream about someone named Ilya Ilyenko (sic), who was meaning to represent Ilyenkov the Soviet marxist philosopher, but lived in the modern day and studied in the math department of Moscow State University.

He created some kind of anti-government society on the very top of the MSU building and gathered people for a meeting with some other philosopher who came from abroad - and they were explaining to that philosopher why Russia hadn't had a revolution yet.

The location was a stairway platworm with an elevator in the middle and stairs all around, all made from brute concrete, the colors were dark sandy greyish-brown, and there was also one wall covered in rainbow lamps a la '50s computers. These lamps represented russian people, and as Ilyenkov was explaining they were one by one turning into multicolored faces of clowns, as the proposed method of revolution being discussed was a global misconduct strike in clownish behaviour.

Then it was announced that Putin himself will soon arrive in this exact location as he apparently was scheduled to read some political lacture to MSU students. Everyone started to flee but Ilyenkov and the philosopher from abroad, as the latter wanted to ask the dictator some absurd provocative question.

The dictator arrived, and mid-question interrupted that philosopher with something like "you should've asked that on my last lecture, but i haven't seen you on my lectures at all, i'd like to know why" and the philosopher, who was clearly not an MSU student, retreated, only managing to say something about how he wasn't on the lectures cause he needed to keep undercover.

Ilya teased the philosopher like "and that's it, you give up after just one question?" while he was fleeing. Putin had something to say to Ilya as well, but he didn't listen, instead grabbing on a rope on the ceiling with some metal hook on the end, tears it throwing the hook away and starts sliding on a spiral down the stairs together with this rope on some kind of rope rail. As he was fleeting Putin shouted to him "by the way, you're expelled" but he didn't really bother.

He slides down the entire MSU main tower on this spiral to a special door for the expelled to leave out of; it was a thick, gray metal door in a white wall. This location was made from very large smoothened concrete panels, and there were construction ramps on the site.

Exiting the door, Ilya found himself in a dark, stormy winter night with heavy snow. Lighting was dim and dark-yellow as if coming from lampposts, but there were none of those in the frame. I saw many individual snowflakes dancing, reflecting this light.

Ilya goes through this location - a yard it seems with a flat floor covered in a thin layer of snow, and a thing grey outer wall with barbed wire - and, exiting out the gate in a wall, becomes me. I'm now in a different location and climate, it resembles the arounds of the MSU more and it's a cloudy autumn day.

I call my mom and ask her if she knows Ilya Ilyenko, she's like "yes, i worked with him, he's from the MSU" and i told her that she probably won't be able to work with him anymore as he got expelled and that is partially my fault (?) - and started retelling her the details.
